The Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) hosted a Legislative Breakfast in the Great Hall of the State House for community members and organizations in Southeastern Massachusetts. Fellowship Health Resources was well represented, with Director of Peer Recovery Services Bob Rousseau co-hosting the event.

FHR educates staff and community about synthetic drug abuse

As the use of "potpourri” and “bath salts” becomes increasingly popular in Rhode Island, Fellowship Health Resources engages staff and community members in the awareness, education, and prevention of synthetic drug abuse. FHR employees have been committed to researching these substances in an effort to protect FHR program residents.

FHR supports expansion of RI's Behavioral Healthcare System

Leaders of behavioral health care agencies in Rhode Island met to converse about the importance of strengthening mental health and substance abuse services at a forum in downtown Providence. FHR staff members attended this discussion to show support, and to provide suggestions for strengthening the behavioral health system.

Mental health service providers unite at the State House

As part of Mental Health Awareness Day, staff from multiple mental health and substance abuse organizations, including Fellowship Health Resources, dressed in green and visited state legislators at the State House to advocate for increased funding for services.
