FHR ACT Team Nurse Tanna Rhew recently shared her fossil finds and experiences at the Drop In Center in North Carolina.
“She made the presentation informative with stories and lead ups to each find,” explained Dana Barnes, FHR Program Director. “She also spoke about how finding a hobby, like searching for fossils, can help with many symptoms, such as anxiety and depression, as well as giving a person a group of people to belong to that share similar interests.”
One member reported that listening to Tanna was one of the most interesting activities to take place at the Drop In Center.
A big thank you to Tanna for an educational afternoon and for sharing with individuals in FHR’s care!
