Members of FHR Virginia enjoy local theater production

EncoreArlington, VA – November 17, 2011 – Members of the Intensive Community Residential Treatment (ICRT) Program at Fellowship Health Resources, Inc. (FHR) recently received a donation of tickets to the production, Robin Hood, presented by Encore Stage and Studio.

Members and staff enjoyed the 90-minute production at the Artisphere’s Spectrum Theatre on North Kent Street in Arlington. The “Artisphere” is Arlington’s new, downtown cultural center.

“My favorite scenes were the sword fighting and archery contest,” said a member from FHR.

FHR members commented that both the actors and the stage crew did a fantastic job of captivating the audience. One FHR member said, “I love Robin Hood. Can we see him again next week, too?”

ICRT staff member Sarah James said that this trip to theater is only one of the many fun, unique activities that FHR Virginia has planned. “Reaching out to the community has turned up many opportunities and experiences for our members,” James said. “They wouldn’t be possible without the kindness of the Virginia community.

FHR extends their appreciation to Encore Theatres and the Rosslyn Spectrum Theatre for making this wonderful event possible. For more information about upcoming events in Virginia, contact Larry Ferguson at 703-979-5077.
