Lincoln, RI – July 13, 2012 - Fellowship Health Resources, Inc. (FHR) was named one of the Healthiest Employers in Rhode Island by Providence Business News. As one of 28 companies across the state to rank well above the national average, FHR President/CEO Joe Dziobek says that this award is quite an honor.

“Within the past few years, we’ve made a strong commitment to health and wellness throughout the agency, both with consumers of our services, and employees,” he explains. “It’s rewarding to rank above the national average, but it’s even more rewarding to hear that FHR’s employees are leading healthy lifestyles.”

In partnership with a national organization called Healthiest Employers, Inc., Providence Business News set guidelines and determined outcomes for recognition across the state. Dziobek credits the receipt of this award to FHR employees’ dedication to wellness.

“We have a Wellness Committee that communicates tips and resources to our employees on a regular basis,” Dziobek says. “One unique wellness program that we offered this year was Shape Up RI agency-wide. FHR has programs in seven different states, and we had employees who formed multi-state teams encouraging one another during this 12-week fitness challenge.”

FHR’s Human Resources Department also delivers monthly wellness newsletters and provides benefits wellness incentives to employees. On Thursday, August 9, FHR will attend the Healthiest Employers’ Awards Luncheon hosted by Providence Business News.
