On Saturday, May 14, 2016, FHR’s programs in Fall River gathered together to join the 5K NAMI Walk in Artesani Park along the Charles River in Boston, Massachusetts.
NAMI Walks supports the mission-driven work of NAMI organizations, which host education programs, facilitate support groups, provide mental health trainings, advocate for access to services, and offer a compassionate place to turn for the millions of Americans living with mental illness. With the help of participants like FHR’s team, NAMI has raised over $6 million across the United States this season.
“Staff from Townehouse Clubhouse, the CBFS (Community Based Flexible Supports) program, and consumers teamed up to walk and raise money,” shared Regional Administrative Coordinator Mary Carriere. “T-shirts were also created to represent our organization and unify our team!”
