Employees Making a Difference- November 2019

Thank you to all FHR staff for their contributions to fulfill FHR's mission - to improve the behavioral health, well-being, and quality of life for the individuals we serve. 
 
Each month, FHR recognizes employees organization-wide who have gone above and beyond in their work with Making a Difference Awards.
 
The following staff members have been recently recognized by their peers to receive this honor:

• “Jacinda and Caroline are nominated for Making a Difference for coordinating and implementing the Collaborative Documentation training in Wilmington, DE.” 


Johnna Motta

How Johnna Makes a Difference:  

• “Johnna is nominated for implementing the Annual Client Satisfaction Survey and ensuring participation in the regions through added support and reminders that has allowed for a relative response rate that exceeded past years. “ 


Sarah Katherine Tiller  

Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Clinician, North Carolina

How Sarah Katherine Makes a Difference:

• “Katherine is a dedicated and committed professional counselor who truly goes above and beyond. On Friday, November 15th Katherine saved the life of a young man who overdosed during her evening SAIOP group. She administered rescue breathing and 3 Narcan kits to revive him. The young man is alive and well thanks to Katherine and the others in the group that assisted in the event. Katherine followed up by going to the detox where the ambulance took him, with follow up calls over the weekend, and offered to help the family if she could.” 

• "The addictions department is grateful for Katherine and blessed to have her as a part of our team.”
