Bryant University’s 2021 Commencement Ceremonies began with a special forum for seven distinguished honorary degree recipients, all visionary leaders, who shared innovative ideas on what comes next for higher education, healthcare, and society.
Debra M. Paul ’85, ’94 MBA, Chief Executive Officer of FHR (Fellowship Health Resources) received an honorary Doctor of Organizational Leadership Degree.
During her remarks, she shared words about leading from the heart and thanked Bryant University for helping her develop leadership skills which she utilizes to be a strategic problem solver.
“My wish for Bryant’s graduating class is that they will find a career path that means as much to them as mine does to me,” she shared. “My hope is that they will use their talents and abilities and apply them to making their communities and organizations stronger. I hope that wherever their paths take them, they find positions and use their courage to lead from their heart.”
