Certified Peer Specialist

The Peer Specialist must be a person with lived experience defined as having experienced a mental health condition resulting in significant life disruption.  Preference will be given to candidates that may meet the cultural and linguistic needs of the community. Additionally the CPS must practice active listening skills and be willing to share one’s own recovery experience.   Ideally the CPS should be familiar with Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP), and be open to becoming certified as a WRAP group facilitator, and be able to facilitate a peer support group. Responsibilities:  Transition Age Youth Services (TAYS) Clinicians provide intensive strategies to address any current need for stabilization, crisis intervention and individual focused treatment. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred in Human Services field, such as social work, psychology, child development, special education, rehabilitative counseling, or closely related field, is required.  A commitment to community-based mental health services.  Experience with case management strongly encouraged but not required.  Computer literacy. Knowledge of non-violent crisis intervention principles and practices. Knowledge of the cognitive and behavioral aspects of mental illness.  State driver’s license and record in good standing.

Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Contractor

Responsibilities: Licensed Outpatient Therapist position to work with a great community of adults living with severe and persistent mental illness.  Be part of a single clinical home model which lends itself to excellent collaboration with other treatment supports, a strong sense of community and the knowledge that you are truly making a difference in individual’s lives on a daily basis.    
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, counseling, rehabilitative counseling, substance abuse counseling, social work, or closely related discipline is required. A minimum of 1 year directly related experience is required.  Licensed mental health professional in Commonwealth of PA - LCSW, LPC, LSW, LMFT is preferred.  If not currently licensed, needs to be working towards licensure.
